What I'm doing this week...I’m in the process of learning how to use my Wacom Bamboo Create. Playing around was fun but I know it does so much more.

A Wacom Bamboo Create is a graphics tablet, it takes the place of a mouse.  It can take the place of brushes or pens if painting in any of the digital software that is out there.  Right now my focus is on Autodesk Sketchbook, Photoshop, Corel Painter, and Nik Color Efex.

Wacom Bamboo Create has a larger digital canvas that is needed; which is wonderful for digital art like illustration and digital painting.  Now the hard part…the learning curve.  The pen works just like a brush because it has pressure sensitivity.  It works like a mouse...it works like a pen...if all else fails, I can use the touch option so it works with my fingers.   It's a lower end graphics tablet to see if can figure it out.

Now the hard part is teaching myself though tutorials and some books.  I haven't found a lot of local resources...let me re-phase that, I haven't found any local resources.

Back to the tutorials...

Later Gators,
